Feline Introductions:
Canella
To the feline that started it all, Canella the calico is a 10-year-old rescue cat who was adopted in 2025 after being surrendered and then returned to the shelter just 30 days into a previous adoption. We brought her home to her forever family, and without missing a beat, she acted like she owned the house. Sweet, vocal, and incredibly cuddly, she wanted nothing more than to sleep in the bed right next to us and establish her treat routines. She spends her days moving between the bed and her beloved noodle bed, soaking up prime sunbathing time whenever possible. As the old diva of the house, she keeps all the young cats on their toes. This girl can hold her own and will tell you exactly what she’s thinking—full of sass, judgment, and the sweetest cuddles.
Georgie
Meet Georgie, aka O’Malley the Alley Cat, aka Garfield, aka the most mischievous little guy to join our cat pack! 🐾 At 3 years old, this handsome boy was adopted from the shelter, where he’d been overlooked for a while due to his shy nature and his very skinny, nervous self. The poor boy used to hide behind his blanket all day, too scared to approach anyone. But we knew from the moment we saw him that he was the perfect addition to our family. He just needed love,
time, and a safe space to shine.
When we brought Georgie home, he spent the first week hiding behind the fridge, trying to escape, and refusing any contact. But with patience, we began to gain his trust, one can of premium wet food at a time! Only the best for our boy—he was eating three cans a day just to regain some energy. Slowly, he began to learn his routine and eventually started greeting us with sweet meows when we’d come home or when his plate was empty.
Fast forward a month, and Georgie is a curious, playful little troublemaker! He loves exploring every corner of the house and definitely knows how to keep the other cats on their toes while they teach him the ways of house manners. Still a work in progress with his street-smart attitude, but he’s learning that all the cats here are friendly and loving! We’re so proud of the progress he’s made in just a month, and we’re excited to continue offering this sweet boy the forever home he deserves as he grows into the confident, happy cat we know he’s meant to be.
